Space Available Travel Information
Remember that in order to sign up for space A travel you will need:
- For active duty military personnel: Common Access Card (CAC), and leave form
- For reserve personnel: Common Access Card (CAC), and DD form 1853 authenticating your travel
eligibility
- Retired personnel DD Form 2 (blue ID)
- Identification Card and DD Form 1173 for dependents over 10 years of age, and birth certificates for
dependents under 10
- Tourist passports for all those requesting travel overseas with the exception of active duty members stationed overseas. (Dependents of AD Mil stationed OS require passports)
The Charleston AFB Passenger Terminal is located at 105 South Bates Street. Our terminal is no longer a single point of entry; however, every passenger will be fully screened prior to boarding any AMC aircraft.
Passengers are reminded that baggage limitations are set for 2 bags per individual, limited to 70lbs maximum weight per bag and not to exceed the dimensions of 62 linear inches. Passengers may carry up to one carry on bag and it must be able to fit under any aircraft's seat.
No open toed shoes will be worn on ANY AMC aircraft. This includes pumps and heels. Conservative attire will be worn. No profane or explicit material will be tolerated aboard any aircraft. Please remember you will be traveling with other individuals that may find your clothing to be offensive.
Note: IAW DOD Foreign Clearance Guide and DOD 1000.21-R you cannot use your Government issued "No-Fee" passport for leisure travel unless stationed overseas or on official travel orders.
Effective immediately the meal rate has increased to $3.65. Please be prepared for the change and remember we accept cash only!
